Mestre Chitãozinho and his students welcome you to the 12th Grupo Negaça Capoeira Batizado and Troca de Cordões on 19-21st May 2022! The Batizado e Troca de Cordões (literally meaning "baptism and change of belts") is an annual event where new students get their first belt and regular students change to a higher belt. Get a chance to train with famous masters from around the world, meet new people, try new capoeira styles and have an awesome time!
We have not been able to hold an event over the past two years due to the pandemic, however we feel that starting with a small and safe event again will give us a chance to re-connect with each-other and re-capture the spirit of capoeira. We therefore require that you get tested and present a photo of your negative test before the event.

Please note:

• Prices below are for capoeira students. Professores and above can join us for free.
• We have a limited amount of Negaca t-shirts that you're welcome to on a first-come, first-serve basis
• Discount rates (20%) are available for students traveling from abroad for this event, and instructors bringing two or more students.
• We accept card or bank transfer payments using the links below. It's preferable if you can download the SumUp app.

* Thursday workshops are open to adults, and kids from the second Cambridge class
* Friday workshops are open to everyone
* Saturday afternoon at the park will be an informal gathering for a picnic and roda, weather permitting
